Warehouse Sales

Great bikes. Honest prices. Community vibes. Once a month, we open the warehouse doors to everyone.

Every month from March through October, Vélocity opens the warehouse to the public for our Warehouse Sale — a chance to browse dozens of refurbished bikes, pick up parts, and connect with the community that makes it all happen. It’s casual, it’s fun, and the deals are real.

Upcoming Vélocity Warehouse Sales

What You’ll Find

Every Warehouse Sale is different — inventory changes constantly as new donations come in and get refurbished. But here’s what you can typically expect:

  • Refurbished adult and kids’ bikes — road bikes, hybrids, mountain bikes, cruisers, single speeds, and more. Prices vary based on condition and type — most are very affordable
  • Used parts — wheels, derailleurs, brakes, saddles, handlebars, stems, pedals, and more. Most small parts are $5 each
  • Balance bikes for small children — free. Return them when your child is done and we’ll pass them on to the next kid
  • Bike shipping containers — rigid plastic cases for transporting bikes, available when we have them
  • Inner tubes — new in box, $10 each

How It Works

  • All bikes are sold as-is. Work has been done by our volunteer mechanics — we recommend having any purchase evaluated by a professional mechanic for safety. You can bring your bike to either Vélocity shop, though repairs there will be at standard cost
  • Prices are negotiable on most bikes — look for white paint marker on the seat or frame. Bring your best offer
  • Cash and card accepted via Square
  • Bikes must leave with you. We can’t hold bikes or transfer them to the shops
  • You’re welcome to use our stands and tools to work on parts or bikes you’ve purchased — just finish up before 1pm

Getting There

The warehouse is at 1502 Mt Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, VA 22301. Head around back behind Eye2Eye Optometry and Al’s Steak House — look for the gray door. Park on the street, not in the lot. Look for the Vélocity flag on the sidewalk.

Want to Help?

Warehouse Sales are run entirely by volunteers. If you’d like to help set up, sell bikes, or break things down at the end, we’d love to have you. Signup on Meetup and mention you’d like to volunteer — or just show up at 8am.

Meetup is free to join — ignore any prompts to subscribe or pay.
